A sensible teacher who observed abuse is obviously important, but claims of hypnotism being used in any criminal endeavour tweak my scepticism antenna somewhat.A FORMER school teacher has emerged as a key witness to the alleged sexual assaults of students, amid allegations that paint a picture of ''rampant pedophilia'' at St Stanislaus College in Bathurst.
The allegations, including that students were forced to have group sex and were hypnotised to have sex with teachers, were heard during a bail review for Brian Joseph Spillane, a former chaplain at the school.

This will no doubt be an interesting trial as it progresses, as the claims being made sound, at least in part, a bit like the repressed memory ritual child abuse cases:

Indeed this sounds VERY like a mixture of Repressed Memory AND Satanic Ritual Abuse. The students forgot about it for decades did they?
Has everyone else forgotten that Greg Cooney the head of the Vincentian Order in Australia was arrested a few months ago on charges of child abuse 20 years ago. He was released when it emmerged that he was not in Australia at that time!
Suppose that the Chief Rabbi of Australia was arrested in similar circumstances. What are the chances that OTHER related sex abuse charges against Rabbis were nevertheless true?
